STRUNA Measuring System (known as.  Level Gauge STRUNA-M before 2005 is intended for measurement of fluid level, temperature, density, pressure and weight of light petroleum products and liquefied gas, calculation of its volume in single- and double-walled reservoirs, alarming of bottom water presence and change in its level, raising fire and environmental safety. The systems are used for  automatic control in fuel and gas stations, petroleum storage depots, food and chemical plants. The systems are developed and manufactured by NTF NOVINTEKH.

STRUNA systems can be used with almost any existing petroleum delivery system and are easy to embed into automatic process control and data gathering systems.

 

                                           STRUNA Measuring System allows to

 

 Perform high-precision remote measurement of level, density, temperature, pressure and weight of liquids, including food liquors and explosive liquids(petroleum, diesel fuel, oil, spirit, kerosene, liquefied gas, gas condensate, solvents, etc.)

  Achieve significant reduction in shift turnaround time and introduce automatic machines into operations of petroleum filling stations and storage depots personnel  

  Control every detail in movement of petroleum products and liquefied gas in  fiscal metering systems

 Indicate results of measurements  and calculated parameters in autonomous indicator or deliver the data into computer system using RS-232, RS485 or USB protocol.

 Connect up to 16 reservoir-mounted PPP sensors (Primary Parameter Reorganizing Sensor) per single STRUNA system installed with autonomous indication unit.

 Monitor large number of reservoirs with the help of several STRUNA systems installed over petroleum storage depots.

  Control reservoirs of different height(up to 18 meters) and filled with different products using single STRUNA system. For example, petroleum filling stations, petroleum storage depots with horizontal and vertical tanks, chemical plants etc.

 Control and automatically prevent fuel overfilling

 Install automatic protection against pump drying.

  Conform to environmental and fire safety regulations.

  Detect presence of bottom water and constantly measure its level

 Control structural integrity of reservoirs, both single- and double-walled.

 Control pressure or level of glycol water in annular space of double-walled reservoirs.

 Measure a pressure in reservoirs as well as in pipelines.

 Calculate the weight of vapour phase in liquefied gas-filled reservoirs.

 Measure the weight of petroleum product or liquefied gas using certified Methods of Measurement.

 Conduct metrological verification without dismantling the equipment.

 Use obtained data in complex metering, storage and supply systems and build corporate distributed metering systems

  Autocalibrate  standard reference tables of reservoirs using specialized software.

 Use PPP sensors in reservoir grading systems(PIGL)
